We are excited to welcome your child to the Butterfly Class at Trinity Unlimited Child Care Center! Led by Teacher Denisah and Assistant Teacher Ms. Simone, this class focuses on preparing your child for the exciting transition to kindergarten. Our teaching philosophy is student-centered, providing hands-on experiences that foster a love for learning and development in all subject areas.

Daily Routine
Morning Arrival
All children must arrive no later than 9:30 a.m. sharp, unless prior approval has been given due to a medical reason.
Breakfast
Breakfast is served from 8:10 a.m. to 8:40 a.m. Please ensure your child eats breakfast before arriving if they come after these hours.
Uniforms
Uniforms are mandatory from Monday to Thursday, with Friday designated as “Free Dress Day.” Open-toe shoes are not permitted for safety reasons.
Rewards for Rock Star Behaviors
Students who demonstrate positive attitudes, follow class rules, and show respect will earn a “Rock Star” status on our Weekly Behavior Board. Consistent “Rock Star” behavior will be rewarded every Friday.
Homework
Homework packets are distributed every Monday and must be returned by Friday morning. Homework should be completed in pencil (except for coloring assignments), and we encourage parents to review the material with their child.
Show & Tell / Book Day
Every Thursday, children can bring a book from home to share with the class during circle time, and Fridays are reserved for Show & Tell, where children bring a special toy of their choice.
Cooking Classes
Throughout the year, we will have cooking activities. Each child will be assigned ingredients to bring, and we will prepare a dish in class together.
Student of the Week
Each week, one student will be selected as the “Student of the Week.” The chosen student can bring a special item to share with the class and will be recognized for their achievements.

Parental Involvement
Fundraisers
Fundraisers are mandatory and held twice a year. Parents have the option to opt out by paying a non-participation fee.
Class Donations
Donations such as Kleenex, hand sanitizer, Lysol, disinfecting wipes, large #2 pencils, glue sticks, and tape are always appreciated.
Birthdays
We love to celebrate birthdays! Your child is welcome to bring treats for the class. Please ensure all necessary utensils and supplies are provided to keep the celebration simple and clean.
Health Policy
For the well-being of all students, we require children to stay home if they are ill. Symptoms such as coughing, fever over 99°F, rashes, or diarrhea mean your child should remain at home until fully recovered.
Communication
Pickup/Drop-off Bin
Please check your child’s in-box daily, located outside under the sign-in folders. Important information, homework, and updates will be placed in the bin.
Year-End Yearbook
We capture special moments throughout the school year and create a yearbook to commemorate your child’s progress and experiences. It’s a fun way to look back and celebrate their growth!
