-Recognizing numbers and counting from 1 to 50
-Tracing and writing numbers
-Spelling, recognizing, and writing their own name
-Completing arts and crafts projects
-Sorting objects and participating in group activities
Daily Routine
Morning Arrival
Children must arrive no later than 9:30 a.m. sharp, unless there is prior approval or a medical excuse, to ensure they benefit from the full day’s learning and minimize disruptions.
Breakfast
Breakfast is served from 8:10 a.m. to 8:40 a.m. Please make sure your child has eaten if they arrive after breakfast hours.
Homework
Homework is distributed every Monday and should be returned by Friday. To avoid overwhelming your child, we encourage spreading the work over the week. Thursdays are “Book Day,” and Fridays are reserved for “Show & Tell.”

Special Activities
Little Chiefs
Throughout the year, we will engage in cooking activities to help children get familiar with kitchen basics. Parents will have the opportunity to support these activities through donations.
Important Policies
Uniform Policy
Uniforms are mandatory from Monday to Thursday, with Friday as free dress day. Please ensure your child has a uniform and a spare set of clothes in case of emergencies.
Class Donations
We always appreciate class donations to support our activities. Items like #2 pencils, tissues, glue sticks, tape, Lysol, Clorox wipes, and 24-count crayons are always needed.
Parent Communication
Please check your child’s pickup/drop-off bin daily for important information, homework, and updates.
Show & Tell / Book Day
We encourage participation in Show & Tell every Friday, allowing your child to bring a favorite toy to share with the class. On Book Day, held every Thursday, children can bring a book from home to read during circle time.
We look forward to a fantastic 2024-2025 school year filled with growth and learning!
